At Monte Creek Winery, we believe great wine should reflect the vineyard, the vintage, and the natural winemaking process. Wine diamonds — tiny crystals of tartaric acid that can sometimes form in the bottle — are a natural and harmless part of that philosophy.
Their presence is a sign of low intervention winemaking, where the wine is handled gently to preserve its authentic character, texture, and flavour. Rather than over-processing the wine for visual perfection, we focus on crafting wines that stay true to the fruit and the land they come from. Think of wine diamonds as a small reminder that what’s in your glass is real, minimally manipulated, and naturally made.
